Experimental techniques

Two-dimensional terahertz spectroscopy  (2D-THz) is an advanced experimental technique used to investigate ultrafast processes and interactions in materials at terahertz (THz) frequencies, which lie between the microwave and infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Unlike linear THz spectroscopy, 2D-THz spectroscopy explores nonlinear responses of materials to intense THz fields, revealing information about interactions between excitations, such as phonons, magnons, or charge carriers. 10T Magnet High-Field Terahertz Spectroscopy is an advanced experimental technique used to study the dynamic properties of matter under the influence of strong static magnetic fields and high-field strength terahertz pulses. This system is designed to make complex, facility-based experiments—typically conducted in large, specialized research environments—available in a more compact and accessible tabletop format
