Experimental methods in condensed matter physics

Lecturers:

Y. Ando, M. Braden, M. Grüninger, J. Hemberger, P. van Loosdrecht, T. Lorenz, T. Michely and I. Lindfors-Vrejoiu

Aims of the course:

To give an overview of the methods used in modern experimental condensed matter physics. The contents of the course relate to synthesis, structural characterization, transport properties, and spectroscopy. Specific consideration will be given to the methods that have been developed and are used at the University of Cologne.
