M2.5: High-temperature superconductors

In this experiment, the High-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 is synthesized and charcaterized by measurements of X-ray diffraction, the elektrical resitivity, and the magnetization. This experiment is split into three (rather short) appointments, because the sample praparation requires that the mixed material is heated in a furnace to high temperatures for several hours
