M2.8: Raman spectroscopy on solids
In this experiment Raman spectra of single crystalline samples are measured for different polarization directions. By studying the phonon excitations the different spectra their frequency and symmetry species can be obtained. Moreover, the dependence of the Raman spectrm on experimental parameters will be explored.
